Who: Draco and Iggy (Maybe Parvati) When: Three months after Malfoy Marriage What: AU. Iggy's been playing the part of the renegade son, this does not bode well for the Malfoys.
Draco and Parvati had been living in their newlywed bliss for the last few months. Iggy, likewise, had been in bliss: Alcohol induced, mostly. Oh, and women. He had travelled Europe for a year before his brother had gotten engaged, but had arrived back in the UK to help with the wedding and play the dutiful brother. The media frenzy over the nuptials however had pushed him into the spotlight as well, and with his brother out of the country and otherwise preoccupied, Iggy had indulged a little.
Well, a lot.
Never having had the responsibilities or the dignity of an heir, Iggy had finally allowed himself to showcase his spoiled, coddled upbringing by going on a half year bender. He partied. He smoked. He met witch after witch. He did ridiculous things.
Generally, the media scoffed at him as the errant youngest son. Of course he would be an n'er do well. And didn't Draco do his fair share of partying in the last few years? Perhaps never quite as wild, but still: It was about time he got to.
Two nights before he had been at a particularly posh hotel in wizarding London, when his date for the evening: An idiotic witch he had brought along only for fun had decided to drop her robes and jump into the decorative pool. The manager had come to speak to him, and drunk, Iggy had acted petulantly. As if it was HIS fault that witch was nutty! Loudly, in front of everyone, he had written a cheque and arrogantly announced that the manager was now fired as he was buying the hotel.
Laughing, he had then joined his date.
Honestly, the morning's tabloid had SO over exaggerated. He never skinny dipped. He jumped in with ALL clothes intact. ....Although she did pull of his blazer and tie at some point.
He hadn't mentioned the event to his brother, and so, nursing a hangover today had woken to his brother's eagle owl pecking him angrily. Iggy wasn't sure why, but the summoning felt an awful lot like being summoned to his father's study. This wasn't good.
Iggy made his way over the grounds to the Manor and walked right in without knocking. Somewhat belligerently he called out loudly, "I'm here for my telling off, Brother!"
