"Of course," Theodore said, moving to retrieve the glass from Tracey. He took great care to not look at Tracey too accusingly as he didn't respond nearly as badly when any of his parents passed away. Then again, he was a child and therefore would likely have minimal access or thoughts of accessing alcohol.
"That may be the case, but I'm sure that your mum would care for you drinking in excess at her funeral. I would think she'd much rather prefer that you're going to take care of yourself, and Charlotte too." Theodore wasn't much of an afterlife person, but he knew of many people who believed in such a thing. And he wouldn't spoil their dreams at a funeral at least.
