Alicia grabbed her glass tightly, willing herself not to break his nose. "Funny you had time to notice," she said tightly, "considering how much you love listening to yourself talk. Though I don't blame you, it is mostly bullshit. I mostly ignore it too."
Alicia kept her gaze on him, refusing to be intimidated by his threats. She knew she could handle herself, not that he would likely fight fair if it came to it. Luckily being a decent person meant she had friends to back her up, he had weak loyalties at best and even that would be overruled by self preservation.
