One of the great things about Terry's job, since he traveled so much, was the way he could work his hours around. Coming back from a trip, which was generally considered 24/7 on-call hours, allowed him a lot of flexibility to take half a day, or an entire day when there wasn't much to do, off for himself when he returned.
Having checked into work on Monday, discussed what success he had with his superiors, and filled out paperwork the rest of the day, it was now one of the those times, and Terry decided to visit Hogsmeade. He hadn't been there in what felt like ages and chose to walk around and enjoy the nice weather.
After exiting Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop, now with a bag containing new quills and ink, Terry was about to head to Honeydukes when he heard something like a small avalanche. Turning, he saw a women wearing a large hat walking huffily in his direction glancing behind her. Looking to see what the woman was glaring at, he saw a familiar figure picking up the so-called avalanche of what Terry now realized was books.
"It's not like she meant to interrupt your obviously important walk." He said to the woman as he passed her. "Besides, you could have prevented this by simply offering to carry the books in your hat. It's big enough." Dodging the curses and the purse that was then swung at him, Terry approached Meg and knelt down next to her, smiling. "Can I carry your books? You know, for all the times I didn't during school."
