Lifting her arm from where it had been draped across her face, Astoria sat up and shut off the wireless. She'd been drowning her sorrows by lounging around on the sofa, listening to depressing music in semi-darkness. She could be rather melodramatic, that much was true, but she felt her impending marriage was just cause for it this time.
