Draco, not having much to do, had sent some of the newer workers home and the ones who had been around longer outside to do a bit of upkeep, while he took to the stables. It was hard to stay annoyed when you were around the horses. They had a calming energy, and Draco had been spending more and more time with them as of late.
He had been in the midst of grooming the second, curry comb in hand, when she had appeared. The little nymph bounced right on in as if she owned the place, lacy coat tightened a notch tighter than he thought it should have been, dark skin standing out against the frosty background.
