Megan jolted at the shout that sounded oddly like Spencer's voice caught up in a lawnmower. She quickly threw open the door to see Angela looming in the doorway like a cat ready to pounce a mouse.
"Hello to you, too, sugar," Angela said, grinning.
Megan was at the doorway in record time, her voice coming out coldly. "Angela." Her cousin glanced over at her, clearly uninterested. "Why don't you go get some of that coffee?" She shoved her pocketbook into her hands roughly. "We're out."
Angela glared at her for a moment, but her smile was back as she faced Spencer again. She stepped forward, brushing against Spencer much more than was necessary as she moved past him. "I'll be glad to make you a cup when I get back," she assured him, giving him another once over, before she set off down the street.
Megan looked absolutely murderous as she stared after her.
