Mandy didn't care much for romance and she wasn't as self conscious about disdaining it as much as she was self conscious about her talk about plants; something with which she was more passionate about than she had ever been about a boy.
"Well, I agree, that kind of stuff shouldn't be rampant. At the work place, no less," she commented and then glanced up at Terry before back down at the table, her fingers tapping on the table lightly, "I'm not particularly.." what were the words? "fond of such a blatant holiday."
Just then the witch that took their order came back and set their tea down in front of them. Politely uttering her thanks, Mandy continued her conversation with Terry as if it had been uninterrupted.
"Maybe that's a good thing. I've been told I'm a bit nutters about them. More than any one should be," she said with a slight shrug.
