Mandy only laughed around her girl friends, and sometimes her brothers when they weren't being the older jerks they sometimes proved to be, but that laugh had come up near easily..just..the look on his face. So priceless.
"Oh yes, they'll certainly over look it then," she replied with a wry grin.
Pursing her lips, Mandy paused for but a moment. Usually people outside of work never asked her why, they just thought Oh, strange girl likes plants.
"Well, my dad was a specialist in Herbology. He was always bringing different plants home so he wouldn't stay at the lab too late and I suppose I was bit of a daddy's girl, you know, this is when I was around eight or so my brother's always picked on me. So I always wondered what he was up to," she babbled, "and well, I'd go and see and he didn't mind most of the time, told me things here and there. It was mostly my curiosity that drove me, and really, the way my dad explained the different aspects to them that just made plants highly interesting." Her cheeks pinkened slightly, knowing she had run her mouth, but he had asked and getting her started on plants was a terrible habit she couldn't stop.
