Who: Fred Weasley, Sally Anne Perks When: November 29, evening Where: Wandering through town. Why: For a much needed break from possibly everything.
Away from the loud bursts of noises at the shop, away from the farm and the poor, unfortunate eyesore that was Lumpy against the backdrop of cute pigs and away from the bar for once, even though this is when he needed a drink the most. Fred walked through the main street of the town casting glances at the brightly lit store fronts charmed with snow and colorful lights. All were getting ready for a holiday that was supposed to be happy.
But Fred's brain was swirling with madness and grief and what was he supposed to think? His best friend was keeping secrets about blokes and who else knows what from him and dying her hair and for what good reason? His brother had been acting stranger than usual (don't think he wouldn't notice) or he became more occupied with the pigs. He and Serena had just had the most engaging and heated break up he'd ever had in his life, and now she was displaced and he was the one left to deal with everything they had gone through. In his own way, he felt displaced himself. He hadn't felt like his usual, carefree going self in such a long time. Fred had just felt more and more callous, his feelings a jumbled mess as he poorly pretended not to be.
