Mandy stared curiously at the tug of war that began with Terry and Michael's sleeve. Though she wasn't pleased with Michael's presence or being disturbed, all pretense of studying was lost with the company.
Michael waved Terry off, "C'mon Ter, don't take off so quickly. I haven't seen Mandy in awhile," at this revelation, he turned to Mandy with a slight pout, "Shame, too. I love hearing about your studies from you rather than your journal. More engaging," he remarked.
Nonplussed, the herbologist stared on before regaining her voice, "Yes..well. In answer to your question, it was a dancing plant.." she trailed. And as for whether if she liked it or not.
"It's certainly interesting," she said staring back down at her notes without really reading the words. She had been weary of the plant at first, not knowing who it had come from, but placing it on the kitchen counter near the radio had provided her a small mimic of company as she studied and it swayed it's leaves in motion with the song.
"Hear that, Ter? It's interesting," he said cheekily with his eyes directed at his best friend pointedly before turning back to Mandy.
"Right..so," she continued undeterred by Michael's normally odd behavior, "whoever sent it knows a thing or two about plants, or at least has read The Power of Movement In Plants by Darwin, because it's not a common specimen."
