Mandy clutched the ends of the pillow by their loose threads. She hadn't wanted to act brashly in the beginning, because there was no use trying to beat sense into someone (even though it was something she did often without restraint). But this time was different. As she strained to hear the small of Alicia's voice, she gave a slight frown. When Alicia had first told her of her incidents with the war, it was understandable and she herself had said that sometimes these things took time to overcome; that strength would develop over time and she would once again feel better.
Now there was a relapse, just when the younger blonde had been quite sure the girl was stronger and things like this wouldn't affect her.
"Remember when you told me about how much you had loved Quidditch? That the best feeling in the world was when you were on your broom and you could feel the wind in your hair and the need to compete running through your veins and it all just felt amazing?"
Mandy had paused to wait for Alicia's affirmative.
"Would you stop flying just because you fell from your broom?"
