Luna smiled vaguely back at Harry. She was rather infatuated with her dress; she'd been sad at first that her silver didn't fit properly anymore, but when she'd found this one she'd known it was perfect. Of course, she probably should have taken into account the limited space in the carriage, but it had turned out just fine.
She had noticed that Ronald seemed tense and it was easy enough to imagine why: the advantage to going with a friend was that there was no reason to be nervous at all, not that Luna was prone to nervousness in the first place, but while Ronald and Hermione were friends it had been obvious for a long time that things weren't so simple for them. In all honesty Luna failed to understand why the situation was complicated, but that was neither here nor there.
"I wonder who all will turn up - and who we'll even be able to recognize," she said, turning her usual distant gaze toward the others with a small smile. It had the air of a question about it, although of course there was no way any of them could know.
