it's Mercy here. i will be brief since i don't have much time. i have been a little on the sick side, so i have been staying with my brother. in my rush to get out so i didn't get little Tali sick, i left my laptop charger with Kana and co.
so far, i have 54% battery that has to last until sunday, the next time my brother can go get it for me. hopefully i will feeling better so that i won't have to camp out with my brother, but it doesn't look that way. if you need me, drop an email! that will be the easiest way to reach me. i miss you guys! :)

hello! Mercy here. i know i am not a modly figure, but i have a good idea! since the auction has been over for quite some time, i just want to discuss what happened with my characters in particular! i thought this was important because for Zee in particular, there is a lot of important stuff that happened to her on her date. so i just thought i would post this and leave it for anyone else who wants to talk about what might have happened on their dates. all of the auction winners are here in case you forgot.
firstly, in terms of Zee and Terence, after much hatred and yelling, she ended up staying in her own flat. he decided that he wanted to have dinner in her house and she couldn't kick him out because he was the winner of the date. so he cooked for her, she surprisingly liked it, and with an interruption from Chelsea, she ends up telling him that Chelsea is his daughter and promptly kicks him out.
Lavender and Nat on the other hand had a very nice time. they went out to dinner and afterward, each of them went someplace they liked; Nat took Lavender to the Quidditch Pitch and Lavender took Nat shopping. it was overall a very nice date and they promised to hang out and see one another in the near future.

Hello, everyone!
I'm Alex. I just joined the game and thought I'd introduce myself to those who don't know me, yet. I'm 20 from Delaware, a student, but I'm online all the time. You can reach me on AIM at yaykebab for plotting, storylines, or just to chat :D
Magdalena Peralta. Her story is a sad, yet exciting. Born in Spain, she moved to England with her mother and step-father. She is the product of an affair with Vaisey's father, and does not know the man personally, only by reputation. In Hogwarts, she was in Slytherin House where she excelled in potions and charms class. She also practiced Latin dance when she was on summer holidays. In the end, all of her work paid off. She danced competitively while running a small apothecary out of her home. now to announce the winners of the auction! before i do, however, i wanna explain how things will be working. since a few people will have double (or even triple) dates, things are going to have to be split up. each winner gets three hours with their person and can choose from a large array of activities. the Ministry has set up reservations in a number of restaurants throughout the London area, so if you select a formal date there, you can just show up. this auction is occuring on the 19th, a week before the Masquerade, so any time during that week is made for auction dates. so feel free to pick dates with each other for the people that will be dating.

hello everyone! it's Elena here, putting up an OOC post regarding the auction. everything so far is going smoothly! bids are flying, people are trying to keep a hold of their bids. the auction is going to be over on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th so in order to establish a winner (since most of these characters have limits on how much they are spending!), increments for bidding must be by increments of 10. this way, it will slim up the competition. so those of you looking to beat the bids listed below, you MUST bid 10 galleons higher than the bid. (for instance, daliah's current bid is 22 galleons so the next bid has to be at the least 32 galleons) that will make it easier to see who really wants who and who will be the winner of each person. the fine details (such as what the winner is entitled to, as well as the actual date of the auction) will be in another post altogether.
under the cut are the people up for auction and how much they are currently, as of 9/6 @ 6pm. from here on out, bidding is increasing by 10s. so keep bidding here, and don't forget to keep me informed here! thanks guys, for making this fun.

all right, guys! as discussed, we are going through with the masquerade. since there are tons of other notes that needed to be shared on this topic that would be best done when the time comes, i figure we can save all of that time and pick the masquerade colors. all the comments are screened and each color is first come, first serve.
please remember this should be anonymous! you can share your colors but you'll just be a major party pooper and ruin all the fun. :P in the case where someone has picked the same color as someone else, the person who got there first will receive the color and you will be asked to pick a new one. :) without further ado, ( the colors! )
