"Ah." Simon had an extremely vague idea of what she was talking about now. He'd heard a little mentioned about the D.C. ruins, and he knew what a library was. That was where Rivet City was too, as he could recall, so if it was on the way he had no issue with making a pitstop.
"Alright, well. Before I enjoy too many of these, I think I'm gonna take that bath. I won't be too long." He felt comfortable enough leaving Arlington down with the other now that they were a little better acquainted. Besides, she obviously had friends here, so if anything happened they'd probably take care of it. He slid his chair back, picking up his belongings. His first thought wasn't that he didn't trust anyone at the table, but that his "clean" clothes were still in his pack. "Gimmie...five, ten minutes."
He turned, seeing that Nova was watching him again, but this time didn't look like she planned on eating him. He nodded to her and she offered a slight smile in return, gesturing with her head to the upstairs before she moved away from the wall she'd been leaning to move up to the second floor. Standing hadn't been that much of an issue for him, but walking was a little more difficult, the room spinning very slightly, enough for him to notice. By the time he made it to the stairs he was at least glad he had a wall to hold onto, and couldn't help but notice that Nova really did have some nice legs.
Arlington blinked when Simon rose but as he announced his bathtime was up she just nodded and stopped worrying that he was upset or mad or something. She nodded and then looked towards Mary, Ceara and Jericho. Her lower lip got bitten thoughtfully. She didn't know what to make of any of them really. Mary seemed to like her and that was good but none of the trio seemed very personable and she had no way of joining in the conversations going on really, so she just watched them, wide-eyed and drank another shot of her liquor.
She was feeling kind of warm and fuzzy herself and the idea of the key that Moriarty had given her sounded really good soon. She looked down at it on the table and bit her lower lip softly. She had some caps from the raiders too, but she wasn't really sure what Mary wanted to do for the night so she reached out and touched her sleeve gently then lifted her hands into a pillow and laid her head on them. Where do you want to sleep? either that or are you sleepy, something along those lines anyway.
A glance up showed that Nova had caught the look and thrown caution to the wind, following Simon up the stairs and down the hall. uh oh, oh well, she tried. right?
Jericho smirked when Simon followed Nova upstairs, lighting himself a new cigarette. The woman was a goddamn jackal sometimes. She had to be, though, he supposed. If she didn't make her cut for the day Colin probably took it out of her hide. Wasn't too hard for her to make a mint, though, considering she didn't have any competition. With Simon gone, Arlington silent, and Mary still eyeballing Ceara in mute horror, he was fairly sure the evening was about wrapped up. He was of two minds about going back to his place, though. On one hand, they could be up all night. On the other, it might because they were arguing. He wasn't keen on the latter, and so he decided he'd just wait for Ceara to say she'd had enough before they headed back to his shack.
"Is that... did you do that?" Mary asked Ceara.
Jericho cleared his throat, his grin going a bit smug as he flicked ashes onto the floor, "Discounts f'ex-raidahs."
Mary decided she just didn't even want to know. That man was disgusting and obviously had no sense of propriety. Arlington, however, was asking her about sleep, and she looked unsure.
"I don't have any money," she admitted, "I don't think I can stay here."
"There's a common house 'round thattaway," Jericho gestured in its direction. Mary wasn't entirely keen on trusting him, but she supposed he had no reason to lie to her. She nodded and offered Arlington a wan expression.
"I can go to the common house, then," she said, "I don't want to be a burden."
