Amaterasu had resigned herself to staying in the cemetary for the majority of the day, checking the animal corpses that had almost left her in shock. How could someone do this while she had closed her eyes for what seemed like a second, without her being able to feel their presence? It was astounding in it's own right.
It was noteworthy in itself that she couldn't find anything wrong with them; there didn't seem to be any physical truama, and she doubted that they would die suddenly. Some of them seemed to be a few that she knew, and had travelled with her on several occasions. Amaterasu had supposed that it was a fault of hers; she was closer to being an animal in more ways than one.
Her offer was generous, at least, Ammy thought to herself. She wouldn't blame anyone if they did come by to get something easier to eat. After all, she didn't eat meat much, if at all, and letting their bodies go to waste would be worse off.
Amaterasu's head turned before her eyes did, one such habit she had picked up from being a wolf for so long. "Yes, I'm still here," Even if her body posture echoed a calm, neutral quality, it was her voice and eyes that displayed her sadness and a vague inkling of anger intertwined.
"You're here for what they can provide, correct?" Ammy was kneeling by a dead doe and her fawn, and slowly wiped a hand over their eyes to close them shut. It was the least she could do for them until she found what or who was behind their massacre.
