When he was tugged in, he leaned into it eagerly, removing one hand from the older man's thigh, though he left the other there, and only shifted it, turning it beneath the Time Lord's hand so he could grip in return, before he curled that now-free arm around the suited back and tugged him forward suddenly, shifting his body back a step. The Doctor would be pulled right off of the counter, onto his feet in front of the Cajun, and only then did Remy release that hand and wrap his other arm around the Doctor's back.

That was a hug, Doctor.

And that red-head was pressing his temple against the older man's, enjoying the immediate warmth that skin-on-skin contact brought. He wouldn't speak, wouldn't babble on. He just wanted that closeness, as well. Just wanted to stay near.

He wanted the Doctor to stay. Here in the store, here with him, here in his arms. He'd give the Time Lord whatever he wanted, if he'd just stay. But Gambit knew he wouldn't, he'd already made up his mind.
