Knowing that Martha was a doctor was much more helpful and easier for her to deal with than anyone else trying to do the same. Trust had always been an issue with her and someone who just wanted to "look her over" would have not gotten as far. She took a large sigh and shook her head,"...I didn't have him at the hospital, I had him at an orphanage. I wasn't given anything." Merope would have remembered just that, she barely made it to the Orphanage at all.
The entire pregnancy had been hard on her body, she had no where to lay that was comfortable as she had been homeless most of her pregnancy. In 1926, people viewed her almost like a whore due to her large stomach and lack of money to remove it. "After I had given birth, I was hold him, but I was so tired..and I woke up here. I can't find him..." She frowned.
Human interaction was difficult for her, she tried to speak without letting on how truly bad things had been. Nobody wanted to hear those things.
