Logan only barely managed to avoid a collision with the tree (or the ground) by dint of some fancy footwork and a rather undignified lurch.

That accomplished, he turned towards Remy and dropped into a half-crouch, studying him with predatory intensity.

Remy wanted to play? Logan was gonna /play/.

He exploded into movement again, this time aiming a feint at Remy's abdomen ... and swinging the other hand around, aimed at Remy's bad shoulder.

Playing fair had never been Logan's style.
