The Doctor ([info]fromgallifrey) wrote in [info]vas_captio_rpg,
He was just starting to mentally inventory if he had in fact put the screwdriver into his pocket or if he could have left it rather hastily on the main control console of the TARDIS when the man appeared in his line of sight waggling his finger like an accusatory old woman.

"What makes you think I had anything to do with it?" He said rather pointedly to the man's accusation. He wasn't about to start following the logic train the made this guy thing that the first person he saw was in on whatever was going on here.

"Very funny," he said quite absently to the man. "Where are we, anyway?" He thought for a moment of asking when he was as well, but that seemed a bit outlandish to be asking the nervous man.

"This is really odd," he said, scratching his head again with an odd sort of scrunch to his nose. "Can't say I'm used to stepping out of one place and waking up in another..." Well, actually he was - but, he was usually in control of where the new places were.

"You haven't seen a blue telephone booth, a screwdriver, or a ginger-headed woman running about have you?" He was just with Donna, she had to be around here somewhere. Stepping around the man he nearly tripped over a rather large rock. "Eh-Right... How about a cell phone? Have you got one of those?"
