Somewhere along her speech, Jay had gotten confused. What seemed like an insult also seemed to be turning into a compliment, so Jay was left half-smiling in a very dorky way. "Uhm...Thanks?" Really, really not sure.
He also didn't know what to say, he'd been that way all his life, it was no life changing secret, no faggy me-work type thing. He was just Jay, and that was all he knew how to be.
Beer in his hand, he sat on a makeshift bench made out of another trashcan from outside, and motioned for Laura to sit on the one that was left. Maybe he wouldn't even need to make the first move - lonely, melancholy chicks were usually out to forget about what made them sad by having meaningless sex, according to Silent Bob's extensive collection of chick flicks.
"So, you like me?" He asked, all suggestive. It seemed like she hadn't smiled in a long while, seeing as she was doing it wrong, mostly. Still, Jay appreciated the effort.
At her next question, Jay chuckled under his breath, as the answer came to his mind immediately. But he didn't answer "You". Instead, he thought about it a little more. "Jersey. Doing you." Ah, well...
