Sarah Jane nodded. She had a basic idea of what the Doctor meant. Luke would have a far better idea of exactly what the Doctor was doing, but, thankfully, he didn't seem to be here. She raised an eyebrow at some of the more questionable experiments the Doctor rattled off. "Nudity?" she said, tone incredulous. It was good to hear that there were resources in this place, wherever it was. They wouldn't starve.

Sarah felt an ache in her heart as the Doctor spoke about Martha. She'd only met the woman briefly, but she'd been so full of life, like all of the people who traveled with the Doctor. "I couldn't tell," Sarah said, a twinge of regret in her voice. "But I'm sure it couldn't have been. Martha's more than capable of keeping out of danger." She wasn't sure how much more to say. From what he'd said in the journals, he was surprised that she and Jack had met. Meaning he hadn't gone through the Dalek invasion yet.

She wasn't quite sure what to say to his next thoughts. "If it is the Trickster, there's no purpose beyond his own amusement," she said darkly. She looked up at the Doctor. "There aren't any children here, are there?" she asked. The thought of Luke, Maria, or Clyde being stuck in a glass cage would break her heart.
