Kimihiro Watanuki ([info]aprilfirst) wrote in [info]vas_captio_rpg,
Watanuki was not too surprised to see that someone was at the thrift store already. He studied the man as he walked closer to the shop, but didn't recognize him. He was probably one of the many names he often saw in the journal - Watanuki hadn't explored much and he'd only met a handful of people in person ever since his arrival.

Caution should have told him to be careful around strangers, but the man in front of him didn't seem dangerous. He seemed busy wiping mud off his shoes.
"Good afternoon," Watanuki said when he'd got close enough to the stranger.
Looking through the shop windows he noticed that the store seemed deserted. It seemed as if he'd missed both Tink and Domeki.

Seeing that the other man wasn't going in, he opened the door an motioned for him to enter.
"Were you looking for clothes, or something in particular?" he asked. "Maybe I can help you, I kind of live here..."
His voice trailed off, and he heaved a sigh when he noticed that the floor was covered with water. It was probably all that snow melting. It wasn't enough to badly damage the things inside, but the floor was a mess. Someone had been trampling around in muddy shoes as well, he noticed with a tinge of annoyance.
