Idiot? Oh, yes, he remembered. That was what Domeki and Watanuki called each other. His eyes narrowed, the blue one becoming almost steely and the gold one almost glowing. The corner of his lip turned upwards into a sneer, and he peered over the upper rim of his glasses at him. "I'm taking a walk, Idiot. What do you think I'm doing? Why should I have to stay in there with Shannon? She's your problem anyway. As far as I'm concerned, she can take a long walk off of a short pier. Why should I have to babysit?"
"What are you doing out here, anyway, dumbass? Not like you've got something more important to be doing than defending the woman that you care so much about. Why would you leave her all alone if she really matters to you? Selfish."
At that moment he heard a piercing voice, and he winced slightly. Adjusting his glasses, he stared down the road at the beautiful girl who was running towards them. He gawked for a few moments. Who was she? His memories, hazy as they were, began to fill in. She looked somewhat like a girl he remembered. No, she wasn't a girl, she was a fairy. And she liked fruit. But she was big now? And she was gorgeous.
Advancing on them, he shoved Domeki to the side and bowed deeply to her. "Tinker Bell," he said, "I am enchanted that you could join us. I hope you know, however, that I will not settle for being second, especially to this idiot." He cocked his head at his friend. Kneeling in front of her, he kissed the back of her hand, looking up at her. "He may be a hero, but I am a gentleman."
