Day Eight - Late Morning
Who: Not!Cielo and Lexi
What: Clone havoc
Where: The Gym
When: Morning Day Eight
Rating: TBA
Status: Dropped

Happy Birthday. Of course, he had not been born but made. And his other half had not been born in this time. But the figure that was walking around smiled to himself. It felt good to be 'born.' Felt good to be doing something, as he was going to do when he got to the gym. Doctor Lexi was there, and the clone Cielo felt compelled to go over there and check up on her.

He also felt another sensation, which was both fascinating and worrisome. There was something else inside of him, something that was but wasn't him. Or maybe it was completely him and this skin wasn't him. He couldn't remember fully. Why couldn't he remember? Whatever was going on, the second version shrugged it off for now.

But that feeling that the clone was having was something very specific, and wouldn't be ignored for very long. That feeling was hunger.

Lexie was currently looking through the various supplies that Martha had collected, feeling a bit on the sad side that she hadn't yet been able to meet her. She was certainly organized, Lexie thought amazed at the ingenious system she had going there.

Humming Stairway quietly to herself she invisioned 80's glam and rocker hair and it made her smile. Well, at least she had that to make her smile, anyway.

"Something tells me this hydrogen peroxide isn't any good..." She mumbled, setting the bottle aside.

He wandered through the gym, not bothered by anybody. Which was both interesting and a little funny. Nobody knew. Nobody suspected.

The clone hadn't been given any specific orders. In fact, he was given free will. There were so many possibilities that way! It was exciting. Maybe he'd want to stick around these people. They were all so full of feelings and emotions and it was all so new to Cielo. It was new to this version as well.

Thinking about this, he headed into the area that Lexie said she'd be in. And he watched her for a minute. "Hi Doc Lexie!" Cheerfully spoken from the dreadlocked young man. "Does hydrogen peroxide go bad?"

Lexie jumped, she couldn't help it - she hadn't even heard Cielo approach she'd been so sucked in to her own little world. In fact, her humming came to as abrupt a halt as her jump had come out of nowhere.

"Oh, Cielo!" She grinned, "I didn't even hear you coming." She rocked backward from her kneeling position to sit on her ankles. "Well, it can over time. It just sort of gets inactive."

She shrugged, imagining that he wasn't really all that interested in the hydrogen peroxide anyway, "How was the trip from the clock tower?"

He grinned easily, coming closer. "Inactive? Funny that stuff like that can go inactive, yea?"

Cielo the Second shrugged. He didn't know how the trip was. "People walk around in here not knowing. It's dangerous, huh? How are you?" There was a smell that he couldn't pick out, but it smelled good.

"Well, it's no different then when your soda goes flat - it just loses it's active ingredient," she quipped, taking the opportunity to stretch.

"Dangerous? I guess. I hadn't given it much thought, myself. Though, it seems everyone is all riled up today." Shrugging, she languidly stretched out, pushing her feet out in front of her on the cold floor.

"Oh, I'm alright. Had a rather scary day yesterday - but that was only due to my own ill preparedness," she was referring, of course, to her bout with near hypothermia.

"Who knew it was bad to go walking in the snow with just a sweatshirt?"

Oh yeah, she did.

He laughed, because going out in the snow seemed a silly thing to do. "Snow is cold." That was the first thing that the clone had noticed after being born. Snow was cold. That was what cold felt like.

Cielo the Second felt another need that made him tilt his head to one side almost. "Can I help?" The Real Cielo liked the doctor, and wanted to help. He wanted to help everyone.

"Yeah..." she replied, her laughter mirroring his own. "Do they get much of it where you're from?" Lexie knew a thing or two about snow, even though her recent actions didn't really reflect it.

"Help?" She asked, looking back at her half finished inventory. "Oh, I think you're helping just distracting me from that whole thing," she waved her hand sort of dismissively at the bandages and other assorted items. Martha had done a good job, for Lexie it was just a matter of figuring out how to organize it so she could find what she wanted.

"So, are you going to wind up moving here or to the Theater?" she asked this because he said he was going to leave the clocktower afterall.

"Okay." That was good! He liked helping out, even if it was just as a distraction. "What do you like to distract you?"

Then she asked about being here or the theater, and the clone had to pause. He frowned a little. "I shouldn't leave the clock tower. In case, you know.." The second Cielo trailed off there. Did she know? Maybe she should. "In case I get too hungry."

"Singing, dancing... Jokes," she smiled fondly, she would be the first to admit that she was fairly easily amused.

"But..." She furrowed her brow, "You said you were going to..." She wasn't sure if she ought to let it drop. Lexie knew what she had read - photographic memory and all.

"Too hungry? You have some sort of secret stash up there?"

"Jokes. Laughter is always good, yea?" The Clone Cielo grinned easily. He liked laughter. It was one of the more fun emotions. These emotion things were neat, really!

Except when they changed too fast. He didn't like that. And that was what happened right now, because Lexie was furrowing her eyebrows. "I know I did, but I get really grumpy when I don't eat."

"Of course," She smiled happily. Cielo was such a fantastic distraction from it all. She was exceptionally thankful to have him there right then.

"Oh... I guess everyone does, don't they - I mean grumpiness and hunger..." Speaking of which, Lexie realized she still hadn't made it anywhere to get provisions.

Feeling un-smart, Lexie pushed herself up to standing. "Speaking of food, I haven't got any here... Want to take a walk to the gas station?"
