Logan was in a mood that was fit for neither man nor beast, though there was little enough outward sign of it. Just the set of his shoulders, deepened frown lines on his forehead and a slight increase in the predatory aura he tended to project.

He was, though, making a concerted effort to NOT vent his foul mood on the people that didn't deserve it. Oh no. He was saving all of that for one person in particular ... and Laura wasn't it.
