The Doctor needed to make a trip to the convenience store. Well, it's not that he really needed much of anything - it was just that he had to stop work on the modulator. So far, no speaker had turned up, so no matter how much he prepped to land the wires there were no wires to land.
He'd left the museum with a funky knapsack at his side, and intended to make it to the gas station and back before anyone would notice he was gone. He was up for first watch this evening, so it was imperative he be there on time. The Doctor, of course, didn't like the idea of disappointing Shannon or Sam after they'd been kind enough to let him share their roof.
Coming up to the dirty glass doors, the Doctor spied the faintest yellow glow from inside. Certain it wasn't light bulbs he couldn't help but wonder who was living there these days. "Hello! Anybody home? He called, pushing the door open a smidge and peeking inside.
