The inside of the gym was lit dimly only by sunlight that managed to stream through the dingy windows. It was cold-looking and not peaceful; almost as though a tornado had gone through it at some point, with the rims of the basketball hoops on the floor along with massive amounts of scattered debris and broken glass.
"Fuckin' hell," Sid said under his breath. He could feel the hairs on the back of his neck rising and a chill running down his spine. There wasn't anything inherently threatening about the place, but...it certainly made him feel uncomfortable for no reason he could single out.
"'s like the end of the bloody world in here," he said softly to Anders, furrowing his brow as he looked around.
