"Right," Sam said, nodding as if he'd followed the Doctor's words. Even though he had no idea what he'd just said. It did sound simple though, in a complicated way. He wondered when exactly the sonic screwdriver was invented and how far in the future the Doctor was from.
Again Sam nodded, only following half of what the Doctor was saying. He got the general idea though. It did make perfect sense to think that the bottom of the wall was thicker at the bottom and thinner at the top. He really hoped the doctor's theories were correct and they could break, or at least crack the glass with his project.
"I hadn't thought of that," Sam said honestly as he regarded the doctor. "It makes sense though. Maybe whoever put us here is trying to alter history but removing us from the equation?"
It sounded like one of the science fiction books he'd read when he was younger.
