Sam Winchester ([info]demonboyking) wrote in [info]vas_captio_rpg,
Sam's smile wavered slightly at the mention of the sonic screwdriver, not quite able to follow the Doctor from one thought to the next. For a moment he wondered if the Doctor was maybe a little off kilter and Shannon's trust in him was misplaced. "Sonic screwdriver?" Sam asked.

"Definitely," Sam said, with a small nod. "I've been throughout the town all day and the strength of the siren seems the same wherever you are. I have no idea how it's being done."

"Fine," Sam said, a little too quickly in response to the Doctor's inquiry after dean. "I mean, considering, he's more than fine. He's over at the church, having a couple of beers and hanging out. Pretty good for someone who's expired." A small tinge of worry creeped into Sam's words at the end of the statement, but he pushed forward quickly. "I wonder how they know we're attempting sleep. I haven't seen any cameras anywhere, but they must have some way to monitor us."
