"It's weird saying that, isn't it?" Cielo laughed slightly, but his expression and manner were enough to make it clear that he wasn't laughing at Sid in any malicious or mean sort of way. "I dunno how anything can be 'nice' in a place like this but, you know? Pretty much everyone I see here actually is pretty nice. S'weird."
It was only after Sid had put his hand away that Cielo caught the implication that he was probably supposed to do something in response to the extended offering. Unfortunately, he couldn't come up with anything appropriate and so figured that it was probably best to have that slightly awkward moment rather than to do something completely weird and possibly offensive. He'd just have to learn what extended hands meant at another time. "Ah, sorry!" He scratched idly at the back of his head and grinned a bit foolishly. "I'm a bit new to all of this. No offense meant, yea?"
The unfamiliar pack caused his eyebrows to raise but Cielo came to the quick decision that what came out of it was most likely not candy and so he found that he wasn't entirely interested. Finishing the last of the candy that had been between his lips, he took a moment to think on the last question. "I dunno how long, for real, but it seemed like they started this morning. I been hoping that they'll stop soon but I dunno what we'll do if they keep going all night."
