"That's probably best," Sarah Jane replied, turning back toward the house. There were rooms they could shut themselves in and have a semblance of privacy. She wasn't quite sure how the Doctor would react to things either, given that he wasn't from a time after he'd been her before, unlike her. And the whole 'time paradox' thing didn't sit well with her.
She headed indoors and toward the farther bedroom, the one that no one had used the night before. Luke was probably still in the room the two of them had bunked in, so she didn't want to go there for this chat. She only hoped the empty house didn't echo too much. Once inside the empty room, she turned to face Dr. Reid, folding her arms across her chest and leaning against a wall, not quite sure how to broach the topic. "What could have happened here that was so horrid I'd have blocked it from my mind?" she asked. Or, had someone blocked it for her? That was another puzzle for another time, however. Now, she was focused on what was missing. Why it was missing could wait.
