Sarah Jane kept close to Luke as they stepped closer to the tent, and moved to partly shield him as the gentleman poked his head out. "Trapped?" she said, taking a step forward cautiously. She peered inside, eyes widening just a bit at the manacle and chain at his ankle. "I see," she said.
She stepped back, giving the man his personal space again, as Luke introduced himself. It felt slightly odd to take her cue from her son, but he'd beaten her to the polite thing to do. She'd let her curiosity get in the way of things. "And I'm Sarah Jane," she said, offering the man her hand. If he was having an odd day, perhaps a bit of normalcy would help. "How long have you been here?" she asked, nodding at the tent. "And how long have you been in our glass cage?"
