She caught sight of him glancing up and, wincing, she peered up as well. It looked like regular sky up there. It just apparently happened to be a sky with a lid on it. "Um. Everyone?" she blurted, trying to keep up with the good captain's train of thought. Easier said than done. People who bit. Lovely.
"Easy there, killer," she mumbled, his fury making her head pound. This place was playing hell with her powers. So many angry and confused and frustrated people in one place was enough to make the poor empath's head throb. She rubbed her temples, shaking her head. "Okay, what I don't get is, why us? And why do some of you remember being here and some of you...us...don't?" And where the hell was Leo? Or Chris, for that matter. Some damned whitelighter to orb in and get her, and hopefully everyone else, out of there. Stat.
The ultimate question, she supposed, was had she been there before? There were plenty of people who didn't remember having been there. But other people seemed to know or remember them. No long lost friends or lovers were popping up claiming her, and she was alternately relieved and disappointed. No, she didn't want to be there now so she doubted she'd have wanted to have been there before. But then, there might've been some comfort in having someone to lean on in this place. And that was something she clearly didn't have.
