Though Phoebe's attention was mostly on the clear glass plasticy thing, Jack's grin wasn't entirely wasted. God, it was like he was almost happy to be there. Or else just completely charming. Hopefully the latter, which was both more and less disturbing somehow. How anyone could be quite so...well, hot at a time like that was beyond her. Still, at least it was a friendly smile, unlike the somewhat creepy one she'd gotten from the bloke at good old Mickey's Diner.
"Phoebe Halliwell," she said with an offered up smile that was, at best, weak. Good looking though he was, her biggest concern was the fact that she really did feel like a trapped animal. "Ever catch bugs in a jar?" she asked, curiously. "I did all the time when I was little. My sister finally made me stop because she thought they looked sort of pitiful trapped in there." Stepping closer, she finally reached out a hesitant hand. Sure, she'd seen the good Cap'n banging his head against it, but since the smart ass in the diner thought they weren't on Earth, who knew what kind of creature he might actually be. It could still deliver some kind of electric shock or something.
But her hand merely hit a cool surface that felt perfectly like glass to her. She was in a jar. "Who the hell are these people? One minute I'm sneaking a nap before going out for the night and the next..." Well, at least they had good taste. She was dressed nicely if nothing else, though she had a feeling if this was like Big Brother or something where she had to compete in some kind of obstacle course, she was screwed in a skirt and heels. Oh, well.
