Illyana had spent the entire day near the cage, keeping the various people who came to stare at arms-length. The part of her that was still her knew she should be tired, but she didn't feel tired. Not in the least, despite the fact that she didn't sit down, didn't close her eyes for even a moment. Whatever the Management had done to her, it was far, far worse than Legion.

Now, once Sam had taken Rose away, she turned to Remy, feeling her face set into a frown and glare, but hoping her eyes actually expressed something different. "Time to go," she said simply, in a voice flat and not her own.
