Rose was grateful when Sam finally released her from her Remy-included prison. Honestly, it wouldn't have been so bad being locked up if the irritating bloke who'd basically ruined her life for her hadn't been there. It was a fairly safe bet she was safe in there, and the cage was at least furnished. But the fact that a part of her deep down had declared Gambit a hated enemy made her contantly on edge while she'd been attached to him.
Of course, it didn't take long for her to realize that Sam still wasn't himself. Mind control? Seriously, Management? Fantastic. And as he led her out of the church and in the direction of the gym's familiar comfort, she had a sinking feeling in her stomach. And a glance up told her why. The sun had finally set, but in its place was a large, round moon. Completely round. Remus was in danger and there was nothing she could do. Everytime she even tried to edge away from Sam, it was in vain. She simply had to hope Tonks or Selene wasn't in the same sort of position she was.
On reaching the gym they moved back towards the locker rooms. What sort of experiment was that going to be? See who could change for gym the fastest? Killer dodgeball? Actually, better not to suggest that one. Sam closed the door behind her, though, and Rose felt the darkness engulf her. One last time, she tried desperately to get through the fuzzy mind of her captor. "Sam!" she called hopefully. "Sam, I know you're in there, I know you can hear me, fight it! You don't have to do this, you can't let them win!"
Rose gave several, last ditch bangs on the door before she sighed and simply leaned her forehead against it. They were stronger than these people's own free will. And that? Was the scariest thing she'd seen so far. Well...until she heard the chains rattling behind her, that was.
