The Doctor ([info]fromgallifrey) wrote in [info]vas_captio_rpg,

It wasn't all that late when the Doctor was pushing open the Chapel doors and stepping into that house of worship that served more as a shelter than anything else. Nobody came here for services and since there wasn't anyone who claimed to be a priest among them, well the structure was as good for sleeping in as it was for praying. If it wasn't for all the distinctly religious bits and pieces, nobody would know it was a chapel at all. Especially not with the way the pews had been cast aside to make space for that cage.

The Doctor canted his head a little, walking deeper into the main room to where the cage had been. It was gone, courtesy of Remy; but, that didn't erase the memory of it's quite imposing nature before.

"Remy?" came a low tone, as he continued down toward the altar and came upon the door to that office. The office that made his stomach turn. Why were they sleeping in there? Maybe because it was the only room with a lock.

"Gambit?" He'd ask, tapping on the door before sticking his head inside.
