Ted did not remember getting into the phone booth. But somehow, some way, he must have. Why else would he be back in history class? He checked his watch, noting the time. It was still on Vas time. Seven AM. "Whoa." Muttered to himself as he looked around the classroom. "Totally must have dialed a number below!" Bill looked over to Ted from the seat over, giving his totally awesome friend a quizzical look. Ted grinned then, knowing that Bill would soon be aprised of the most excellent adventure that awaited them.
The bell rang, signifying the end of class, and Ted grabbed up his stuff, just happy to be in the presence of his band mate again. "I totally missed you, Bill!" Exclaimed cheerfully. That got another quizzical look from the blond, who then grinned in return. "I missed you too, Ted!" Though he had no idea why. The grin briefly turned into a scowl. "Fag." They both said it simultaneously. Weren't they supposed to act tough and stuff? Did Eddie Van Halen tell his bandmates that he missed them? It was a good question. Either way, both boys were goofy smiles and amicability as they started to leave the classroom.
"Bill? Ted? I need a moment with you." Mr. Ryan, the History teacher, called them back over. He proceeded to tell the Wyld Stallyns that they were in danger of failing. Badly. "It seems to me that the only thing you've learned is that Caesar is a 'salad dressing dude.'" Oh no, thought Ted, here we go again.
-------
He was bouncing on the bed again, playing it all how he remembered it. Bill was busy scribbling away on a notepad. "Okay. George Washington. One, the father of our country."
Ted laughed, taking it easy because he knew that they were going to get through this. "Two, born on President's Day." They went through this until Ted started describing Washington's head. "Bill, you ever made a mushroom out of his head? It's like, just like--"
Bill looked up, staring reproachfully. "Ted. Alaska." Ted settled down then and bounced into a sitting position on the bed. "Bill? What if I told you that we're totally going to pass? And have a most excellent time doing it?" He wanted to tell his friend about the adventure. He really wanted to tell him about the Robot Them's. Maybe he could save themselves. "Robot Us's. Remember Robot Us's." Muttered to himself.
The blonde gave him another look, both wanting to believe Ted about passing and having adventures and thinking that Ted was going crazy. The wild-haired boy looked a little like a wounded puppy for a moment, then shook his head. "C'mon. Let's get this done, dude. We have to get to the Circle K."
