Day Twenty-Five, Back in Time
Who: Andy Gallagher, Ansem "Webber" Weems, and Tracy
What: After the Aerosmith concert
When: Day 25, 10:30am
Where: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Rating: PG
Status: Complete

"Hey bro, snap out of it, we gotta go."

"Huh?" Andy asked, shaking his head and blinking hard. He was standing outside a venue and people were pouring out all around him, knocking into him as though he wasn't even there at all. When he came to, he saw Webber standing in front of him, eyes alight with excitement and nodding his head toward the van idling on the side of the road with Tracy behind the wheel. Andy's eyes widened.

Webber laughed and gave him a nudge. "Dude, relax. You havin' a bad trip? Listen, it's cool; Tracy's DD-ing, man, remember? We can smoke a fatty in the back and it's all good. Walk it off, bro." With that, Webber started toward the van and Andy stiffened.

"Stop!" He shouted. "Don't go near her."

Turning back to face Andy and continuing to walk backward toward the van, Webber raised his eyebrows. "I'm goin' in the back, man, chill out," he replied. "Now come on. Let's roll!"

As Webber turned away from Andy again and headed to the back of the van, pulling the doors open and letting himself inside, Andy's eyes moved to Tracy. She smiled and rolled her eyes playfully before blowing him a kiss and gesturing for him to hurry up.

The drive back from Tulsa - the Aerosmith show. The fucking Aerosmith show he'd gotten Webber backstage for - had been uncomfortable. Webber kept trying to get his attention and laughing when Andy chose, stiffly, to fake being too stoned to concentrate on looking at him. Tracy was holding his hand on the center console and he and Webber were passing the joint back and forth over those intertwined fingers. He was still the person he'd been; remembered everything that went down with Webber and the ice in Tracy's eyes when she'd looked away from him that day. Remembered Lexie and Elliot and Luna and how bad he wished he was back with them because his past was too damn painful to frolick in. He didn't want to stay here, even with Tracy.

After dropping Webber off, Tracy pulled into a parking lot and turned the key in the ignition, handing the keychain to Andy when she'd pulled it out. He stared back at her dumbly. "Well, come on," she laughed, pushing her door open. "If you're really good, we can have a little fun before bed..." she coaxed before slamming the door shut and heading toward the door of the apartment building that Andy suddenly recognized as her own.

They made their way up the stairs to her apartment and Andy was numb. He wasn't sure what to feel. Relieved? No, because in a few months, she'd be afraid of him again and Webber would be dead. Afraid? No, because Tracy had her hand in his and her thumb was stroking his gently; she was leading him into the bedroom and as soon as her hand left his own, she was taking off her clothes. Happy? Although he thought he should be fucking elated, all Andy could think was it would hurt twice as much the second time around if he had to stay here. He'd rather stay than go back to Vas Captio, but it would hurt more the second time, he was sure of it.

Tracy's hands were in his hair, on his chest. Her lips left a trail up his stomach after she'd abandoned a blowjob in progress when he couldn't keep it up. She blamed the pot; he blamed himself. Holding her in his arms as she fell asleep not long after, Andy stared at the ceiling above and frowned. This couldn't be it. He couldn't possibly have to live his life from this point forward all over again. He couldn't not see Elliot or Lexie again. He didn't even know Steggy's last name and he'd see Sam and Dean soon enough, but it would be under the same unpleasant circumstance it had been the first time. At least they'd get to Tracy sooner... Webber would still have to die, but maybe he could fiddle a little with time; maybe she would see him as a hero rather than a monster this time.

All the thoughts whirling around in Andy's head became a mess of nothingness as he drifted off to sleep, the scent of Tracy's shampoo in his nostrils and the weight of worry in his chest. He'd worry about it tomorrow.
