Day 24 - Late afternoon
Who: Selene, unconscious!Chris.
What: Making good on her promise to Rose.
Where: The gym.
When: Day 24 - Late afternoon.
Rating: PG.
Status: Closed.

When Selene arrived in the gym it was later than she had intended. Who knew one human could be so hard to retrieve? Well, alright, he wasn't exactly human. That much had been proven the first time he threw his hand out and she felt an invisible force launch her back into the wall behind her. Rose had mentioned the boy was magical, but that meant little to Selene. Her world may have had vampires and lycans and immortals, but they didn't have magic. At least not that she knew of. Humans back home were free to believe whatever fanciful crap they wanted to. So, after her run-in with the newcomer (she really needed to talk to Remus about him) the vampire had spent the better part of the afternoon trying to track down and incapacitate the boy Rose had sent her after. She couldn't remember his name and it really didn't matter. It was probably for the best that she didn't, the way he was getting on her nerves. Things were always harder when she had to try not to kill or seriously harm someone.

After he disappeared on her the second time she was sick of playing around. Thankfully using his magic seemed to have weakened him, and it was relatively easy to 'accidentally' knock him out. If holding someone by the throat and cutting off their air until they passed out could be called an accident. But hey, it was safer than hitting him in the back of the head and risking real damage. That, she figured Rose might frown on. As it was Selene didn't plan on mentioning what she had to do, and judging by some of the nonsense the boy had been spouting -- calling her a demon, that she'd been sent to kill him -- she doubted he would remember what exactly happened.

The main door of the gym was pushed open with one hand as Selene walked in, the unconscious whitelighter carried over her other shoulder. She had noticed the bandages on his neck and the tinge of death that clung to him but the wound wasn't bleeding and it was the easiest way to carry a body. Instead of looking for Rose right away the vampire headed over to one of the empty cots to unload her quarry, somewhat eager to be rid of him. She was, at least, somewhat careful about that, and verified he was still breathing when she laid him down. "I sure hope you're worth all this trouble." Selene muttered under her breath. Dusting off her coat and pushing her hair out of her face as she straightened, she looked around for Rose so she could let her know the boy was back safe. Then she planned on getting the hell out of there. The vampire was slightly worn out, and she was hungry. Being in a room full of humans or mostly-human people was not the best of ideas.
