What: In search of a payphone without the idiots.
Where: In Town

Like hell she was sticking around with those two. Crazy woman and idiot man. Yeah, right. She'd lived a long time on her own, and now she was even stronger when she was then, this ought to be a cake walk. This ought to be simple. She'd find a payphone, she'd dial up Toad or Mystique or somebody and they'd get her, and she'd go home. No stupid box of crap, no stupid people, and no creepy ass town.

Walking along in the trailing fog and growing humidity, Rogue had no choice but to peel off his coat and drape it over her shoulder. Where was she, the Amazon? No, she was in some screwed up little town, from the looks of it. Broken down everything. It was kind of sad in a way, seeing a place that was probably once really quite vibrant turned to little more than a shell of itself.

Though, she still wasn't looking for help beyond a phonebooth. She wasn't calling out with weary  hello's and she certainly wasn't making anymore noise than she had to. A dark place that smelled like death wasn't exactly where she felt most at ease.
