Dean glanced curiously at the bandage as Shannon lifted his sleeve to reveal it. She was being helpful but to Dean it felt like she was somewhat impatient through it all. Maybe that was just the last vestiges of whatever had happened to him after he'd met the Doctor and before he'd found himself walking aimlessly through the trees. If he thought hard enough, he couldn't remember having started walking. He didn't think that would be the greatest tidbit of info to share with her though. She was very obviously skittish if nothing else. He wondered what had happened to her and felt a twinge of -- regret, was it? -- that he hadn't been able to protect her.
Odd thought to have. He'd never met her but instinctively he felt he should have been able to protect her and anyone else. He'd tried to protect the Doctor, as much as the guy had been stubborn. He could remember that at least. And the glass wall! They'd found a glass wall... Hence the Glass Cage. Okay, that made sense then, he guessed.
She held out her hand to him and he tilted his head and chuckled at her good-naturedly. He glanced down at himself, obviously meaning she should take note of his larger, more muscular physique and asked, "Seriously? If you can help me to my feet without breaking your arm, I will have to totally rethink my ideas on - Ow!" he growled and tore at the bandage on his arm. "If we're lab rats, what do you think they did to me here? And who is Sam?"
