Cielo ([info]cloudlesssky) wrote in [info]vas_captio_rpg,
It was only when the woman began to let her guard down that Cielo allowed his stance to change to something fully casual. His weight shifted fully to one foot as he crossed his ankles and his arms crossed loosely behind his slightly cocked head. His expression was a friendly sort of neutral as he took a moment to observe this stranger, the only other person seemingly willing to take a chance on walking around after nightfall, but he could spot nothing obvious about her to set him back on edge; even if she did still have the set and stance of a warrior, she hadn't attacked him and she was addressing him in a fairly mild manner - the ultimate conclusion was that he had simply overreacted a bit to an unexpected encounter.

"Super fast and super strong, really?" Cielo asked. He leaned in a bit closer to her, an innocent and almost absent gesture, and widened his eyes just slightly. Not that he was unused to dealing with people who had abilities beyond the expected norm, but he really hadn't expected to run into anyone like that here. "That might be why I didn't notice ya. Guess there aren't lotsa people like that around here."

"Yea, I thought it was a bit odd that there wasn't anyone around," he agreed with a slight nod of his head. He turned to glance up the street one way then the other before turning his attention back to her. "I just got here, though, so I guess I really don't know how things go yet. So, no one really goes out after dark, yea?"
