A small squawk of surprise left Cielo as soon as he realized that he was on a crash course with a rather intimidating looking woman but his innate grace allowed him to dance a quick sidestep. As soon as it was clear that no crash was coming, he opened his mouth to make some easy comment about needing to watch where he was going or pulling his mind from the clouds but the fact that the woman fell into what was clearly a fighting stance threw Cielo a bit off of his usual beat. His eyes narrowed slightly and, for just the sparsest of moments, he felt his own body react - growing tense all through and dropping low, as if meaning to use his smaller size and agility to his benefit. He knew that he had no weapon, his gun haven been taken from him upon arrival, but he felt that he could maybe put his body to fair use, especially given the fact that one of the woman's arms seemed to be rather...loose.
It took Cielo only a moment to regain sense enough to realize that this woman, even if she hunkered down like a soldier, was a civilian and he had no place picking fights with people who were outside the boundaries of war. Shaking his head, Cielo fell back to his easygoing and light personality almost as easily one could flip a switch; his body returned to its normal lithe fluidity and he grinned almost foolishly as he lifted a hand to rub at the back of his neck.
"You're pretty good," he laughed easily, his accent shaping his words into something a bit exotic. "I didn't even see ya coming. I didn't know lotsa people were out prowling around at this time of night."
