Settling back down with a relieved sigh she realized it was Elliot. "You have no idea how much you scared me," she admitted with a shake of her head and bashful smile.

"Yeah, thought the place could use a little redecorating," if you could call having all the same stuff in different places redecorating. "Had to do something aside from worry," she said quietly, kicking out the chair on the other side of her makeshift card table to the side. "Up for some cards?" She was already cleaning up her last failed attempt at solitaire, shuffling the deck as she offered her friend a welcoming smile.
