When she'd seen the handwriting of Lexie and the others pop up in her journal Elliot had let out a startled gasp of surprise. More and more of them had filled out the required survey and by the time noon had rolled around her curiosity outweighed her fear and she decided that she wanted to see with her own eyes that they were back.

She'd contemplated taking Andy's van for protection from the rain, but she didn't want to use up all of his precious gas or the vehicle's battery. She scribbled a note and left it on the front seat, half afraid that if she sent him a note over the journals he'd convince her to stay put. He seemed extra protective of her lately, something that she very much appreciated, but was also starting to take it's toll. She'd spent most of the day locked up in the van waiting for word of another disaster and the thought of walking in the rain to the Gym seemed strangely liberating.

She got out of the van, locked it behind her and started making her way down the road. Her steps slowed as she approached the Theatre, thinking momentarily of how she'd stood there for hours yesterday watching two men die. Even though she had yet to actually meet Remy or L she couldn't help but think that if she saw one of them in person she wouldn't be able to stop herself from hugging them out of sheer relief that they hadn't died in that horrible and unspeakable way.
