Vas Captio is keeping all of it's current subjects. The Management has grown fond of them.


Weather Forecast
40° and cloudy, cooling as the day goes on. By late afternoon, snow will begin to fall, three inches accumulation by 11pm. Morning: 45°; Mid-day: 37°; Evening: 30°.

Experiments


Congratulations, you've made it through your first thirty days at Vas Captio. As a result, the Management has set up different functions around Vas Captio for the remainder of the day.

Carnival: Several of the rides at the Carnival have mysteriously begun to work. It doesn't look like anyone is manning the rides, but the Ferris Wheel, Roller Coaster and Merry Go Round are all fully functional.

Theatre: Yes, that is music you hear coming from the theatre. For your entertainment, the Management has brought in a small Acting Troupe to perform two different pantos in repertoire: Cinderella and Robin Hood. One each hour.

Gym: There is a spread of food stretched out as far as the eye can see in the Gym. All different manners of cuisine, drink and alcohol. And as an added bonus, the food will not turn to ash when you exit the gym either. Call it the management's gift to you.




Inventory

All regular stores are found in the Pharmacy and Gas Station including water, candy, and alcohol.

Journals have been returned to all characters.

Thank you for your patience these past couple of weeks. Modly Numero Uno (aka, Lia who is typing this) is smack in the middle of law exams and Modly Numero Dos (aka, Shannon who is playing with her iPhone) has been swamped at work. Thus, we present to you our plan for December.

We know this is a very, very busy time for all players between travel, school, holidays, and just end of the year insanity. Thus -- here's the deal. There will be two day changes this month. The one you see now and one in two week's time. Both days will not be experiment days, but rather are a chance for IC interaction without stress. Call it our gift to you.

Because there are two weeks for each day change, we feel that you all will be able to have the one journal/one thread requirement. If you are totally swamped and cannot meet that, please let us know.

For Mid-December Day Change:
The Management will be celebrating [insert holiday choice here]. This is where you come in. Everyone must email the mod account with a personal item your character would like to have. Just because you request it does NOT mean that you will get it. For instance, Jack could not request his Webley revolver as it's a weapon. But he could get a working wrist strap. Don't worry -- Management won't allow him to use it to break through the dome. They're not that kind.


Updating Tables:
Unless I really need the study break -- all tables will be updated after the 16th. The friend-add IS up to date at present. But the others will be updated as I can. ALSO! Shannon and I are going to be looking through the taken/held/banned list and doing some revising. We'd like to hear from you guys as to what characters that are currently on the banned list that you'd like to see back in action. Similarly, what characters that aren't in game right now would you like to see? Once the 1st hits, we are going to be doing a fresh round of advertising for new victims players. So here's your chance to let us know who you'd like to see back and who you'd like to see in game!

QUICKIE QUESTION! (No, Jack, I'm not ASKING for a quickie!)

The groups that were all caged/locked away, did they wake up to just find their 'prisons' unlocked or did they wake up back in their usual locations? Or in some random location because it's fun?

Oh, and is everyone essentially back to normal? Perhaps not healed or what have you, but are powers returned, that sort of thing? Though Selene would not complain if she was still at full strength rather than starved. lol.

Experimentees:
I'm going to leave this up to player discretion. Either in the cage unlocked or back where you usually sleep. Those folks are going to have enough trouble, methinks.

Conduits/Experimentors:
Will wake up outside of the gym. On the ground. Because the Management is nice like that.

Guards:

Will wake up outside the clocktower. Also on the ground. And not even with a blankie.

Oh! Before I forget, a previous member of the game, Alej, PMed me. She's interested in coming back, but her characters are on the "banned" list. She's wondering if it's possible for her to resume her roles as if the characters had been restored to Vas Captio? ^^

Thought of more questions!

Are all weapons that had appeared the day before now removed? {I'm assuming yes.) And can the Acting Troupe be interacted with in any way, or is there some sort of barrier around the stage area that prevents at least physical interaction?

And something I always mean to ask but space off... does the thrift store ever get restocked or just the other two?

Acting Troupe cannot be interacted with. They are there to perform and nothing more than that. You could get onto the stage, but any attempt to physically harm or stop them from performing won't happen. Think of them as having a bubble around themselves.

Ooooh. Uh. Maybe. *cough* *won't mention this mod didn't think about restocking the thrift store*

Noted. Selene is disappointed she can't use the Troupe as a snack, but I'm sure that's really for the best. *nod*

LOL. I only ever thought of it because I have far too much time to sit around thinking about this game. And because Chris keeps bitching that all his clothes got ruined during the zombie funtimes. Silly boy.

This just popped in my head, and if it should be totally obvious I blame my blondness on it being after 3am, lol.

As everyone/thing is back to normal (normal for Vas at least, heh), are the tattoos now gone or do the characters still have them as a reminder of the previous days?

Also, while I'm finally catching up on the mod requests made here and I spaced on...

I'd love to have anyone from Scrubs.
And from Supernatural Dean again and Jo Harvelle would be kick ass.
