Power Listing
Dear Everyone -

Recently there has been some confusion as to what abilities certain characters have. We would request as an aid to your fellow players that you reply to this post with any special abilities (Physical, mental, or otherwise) that your character may possess. No need to write a novel - just a quick rundown would be fantastic. This will be compiled on the Mod Journal for future reference. Have questions? Contact a mod!

Chris Halliwell - Scrying (ability to locate person using a crystal, map, and something that belongs to said person), spell casting and potion making, orbing (type of teleportation), telekinesis, minimal healing ability (yet untested in Vas). He can also generally sense whether a person is good (often considered an innocent) or evil and/or a demon, as well as being to sense magic. He does have latent powers (such as those that would develop between he and a charge) but they have yet to develop/show themselves here yet. Also, despite being half whitelighter, he is completely mortal because he is half witch, and thus can be injured as easily as a normal human and is fully capable of dying.

Selene - Immortal. Extremely heightened senses, superhuman speed (able to move faster than the eye can follow), strength, and healing capability. Wounds heal near instantly or in a few moments/minutes, depending on the severity, and she can survive direct blows to the heart and brain. By drinking someone's blood she has access to their memories up to that moment; with enough practice and discipline she could search a person's memories for something specific.

The Doctor - Genius, heightened reflexes, heightened senses (hearing, smell, taste), respiratory bipass system, a veritable encyclopedia of knowledge inside his head, can 'feel' the movement of time and space, can regenerate if near death (take on a new body)

Lexie Grey - No special abilities

Leonard McCoy - Advanced knowledge of comparative anatormy

Andy Gallagher - Power of mind control. It does not work on other psychics in his canon, so for the sake of argument, won't work on any psychics, period. He can also force the images of whatever he wants into someone else's mind's eye.

Kimberly Corman - Death visions and an accute ability to pick out subtle signs of what will be the cause of an oncoming death.

Shannon Rutherford - No special abilities.

Remy LeBeau - Empath (he can feel what other people are feeling); kinetic energy can be transferred through his body, beginning in his palms and spreading out from there, he can transfer the energy through any part of his skin, into just about anything, and cause it to explode (as well as heat things up, causing them to either separate from one another or solder together - think of a blow torch, sort of?); 'Charm' as well, which is his ability to sway other people's decisions or actions in the direction that he wants them to go, it doesn't work on people with moderate to strong psychic abilities, or on anyone who knows that he has the ability, once you know about it it's no longer effective. He's also exceedingly flexible and acrobatic, and can normally walk without making much noise at all, he's been a thief for a long time and is adept at getting in and out of places that most people couldn't even dream of getting in and out of.

The Doctor - [Stealing Shannon's!] Genius, heightened reflexes, heightened senses (hearing, smell, taste), respiratory bipass system, a veritable encyclopedia of knowledge inside his head, can 'feel' the movement of time and space, can regenerate if near death (take on a new body).

Hannibal King - No powers, but he fights real well! He took on a vampire and won (by the skin of his teeth), so that tells you something!

Remus Lupin - Werewolf, so around the full moon he gets a little more aggressive and just a bit stronger, not really anything bit at all, plus he turns into, you know, a werewolf; also, he can do magic, but not without a wand.

Connor Temple: Extremely high IQ. Extensive computer knowledge and a knack for inventions.

Jack Harkness: Immortal. Well, he DOES die, but he'll come back. The severity of the death depends on how long he's knocked out. Consequently he can heal from anything (this includes being blown up) and can metabolise any poison. Of course, it goes without saying that he's a sex god and usually can get anything into bed with him. Yes, anything. Jack is just a bit more flexible when it comes to dancing.

Gregory House: Snark and the ability to make small children, adults and everything in between cry.

Sam Winchester: Telekinesis – though this only happened once in an extreme situation involving a vision of Dean’s death, Psychic visions – Sam started having visions of his girlfriend’s death six months before she was murdered and has had several more visions of future occurrences later in the first two seasons. To date he hasn't exhibited either of these powers at Vas. Advanced fighting skills, but no super powers.

Elliot Reid: No special abilities.

Dan Dreibeg: Advanced fighting skills, but no super powers.

Tonks: Metamorphmagus (Shapeshifter). She can morph into pretty much any other person. And can take on animal pieces (ears, noses, trunks, beaks) but can't actually shift into an animal.

Tonks can also cast minor spells without her wand, mostly of the Lumos and fire variety.

Ted: None. Unless you count his cluelessness. That should be a power!

Oz: Werewolf so kind of grouchy toward the full moon and hairy during it. However, he does get some bonuses from it during the rest of the month! Heightened sense of smell and hearing. And he's pretty silent when moving, but I think that's more an Oz thing than a werewolf thing.

Oz can also fight well enough. Certainly not great, but enough to fend off vampires and the like.

Ianto Jones: Minor coffee god. No, really. He makes quite possibly the best cuppa in the milky way. Near eidetic (I can never spell that without a spell check I swear) memory, which means if he wants to remember it, he will. Excellent aim with firearms. Familiar with several forms of unarmed combat, though he doesn't have much call to actually use said forms. Can speak Welsh (So counts, dammit). Has the ability to surprise Jack in bed (also counts, dammit).

I can use a cuppa Ianto's coffee right now. That, the rain that's going on, and a good book.

And Ianto to cuddle with.

Make it happen for me, Chris! <3

L Lawliet: Strengths and talents include unusual emotional detachment and strength on demand ("getting over" Laura, etc.), as well as his deductive reasoning and encyclopedic knowledge (less so when it comes to most pop culture.) In his canon, his IQ is arguably one of the highest on earth. Physically, emotionally and socially, L is less capable. He is resilient to loss and criticism but unable to see himself the way he sees most humans.

Rorschach: Very good fighting ability, physical prowess and resourcefulness; above average IQ. Confident and very resilient to criticism. Poor people skills, no "super-powers."

Edward: Does not age; possibly immortal if left uninjured, but vulnerable to physical harm and injury. Highly creative, sweet and optimistic, nearly impossible to dislike. Large usable shears in place of hands only "power."

Willard: Can communicate with rodents. They are drawn to him and do his bidding. Higher than normal intelligence. Low physical strength, emotional strength, independence, and confidence; very poor social skills.

Sarah Jane Smith: uncanny ability to get into trouble, good screamer, resourceful, cheerful demeanor, very trustworthy; no superpowers, she just tries hard

Illyana Rasputin: teleportation via "Stepping Discs"; ability to cast minor spells when she's in a good mood (fire, scrying, ,minor healing), and slightly more powerful ones when she's upset or angry (more powerful fire, although nothing huge in this dimension); astral projection, although she hasn't used it here; when using Black Magic or when really upset, takes on the physical characteristics of her demon-self - horns, reddish skin, yellow eyes, cloven hooves for feet, a tail; ability to summon a Soul Sword, which can cleave through any mystical or magical effect and injure magical beings, but won't harm anything non-magical in nature, including people; Eldritch armor, very resistant to both physical and magical attacks, covers her when she summons her Soul Sword - amount of body covered depends on her will, although usually it's just her sword arm - it can cover her entirely if she works at it; currently missing 3/5 of her soul, so she's 3/5 demon; has ability to move between demonic Limbo dimension, where she rules as Sorceress Supreme and the normal world (although not at Vas, unless Management is being nice) and to command and summon the demons who live there (again, not at Vas, unless Management likes her); highly trained in physical combat and movement

Spencer Reid; Genius IQ of 187 (includes extensive knowledge on just about everything, with a knack for statistics). Eidetic memory (his mind has the ability to "photograph" and recall things he has seen with perfect detail). Reading speed of 20,000 words per minute. The ability to profile (he can pull out emotions, read people, psycho-analyse and gauge the way peoples' minds work, usually with accuracy). Linguistic skills (he has a way with words). Sleight of hand (he is known as a magician by his friends and, regardless of his clumsy nature, can use sleight of hand to perform card tricks, hide things from view, etc).

note:I know this seems like a lot... but he's an angel. That said, he doesn't just use his powers to use them (except maybe moving little tiny things). He's also not 100% connected with his abilities these days, and may not be able to use all of them.

Mundane Abilities
things he might do in vas captio
Appear/Disappear wherever (but can only be in one place at a time; cannot escape Vas)
Put people to sleep with just the touch of his fingers
Can show the shadows of his wings
Create Visions/Dreams
Communicate through dreams
Banish weaker demons with his hands
Emulate voices
Move small objects with a wave of his hand or with his mind
Can use sigils to ward off angels/demons
Carve sigils into people's bones
Heal/mend himself eventually (except in a few extreme circumstances, ie. getting blown to pieces)

Extreme Abilities
things he is not likely to do in vas captio
Speak in his normal voice and create great gusts
Blind people with his true form
Possessing others (besides Jimmy) in a pinch
