Hey all~! I'm brand new to the game and super stoked to be bringing in the adorably awkward Spencer Reid from TV's crime/action/drama Criminal Minds. This is the first actual game I've ever taken him in, so it should be interesting... There's info on him in his journal if you have never watched the series.

Hi Jayden! Welcome to the game! I'm AM and have three kiddos with me. This one here is Oz from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, who'll get to meet Reid soon! The other two are Ted Logan from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Tonks from Harry Potter!

I've been a bit scarce lately as my computadora is a mean mean thing and I'm waiting for a new adapter..but am using my phone right now. Heh. And when I get back I'll be found at AIM giass songs!

I play Connor Temple here, from Primeval, who's a brain and a techie and is more likely to make a solar-powered water purifier than a girlfriend. Hallo there! :D!! I'm Dexy, and I play the Doctor, as well! Well, I play Nine, she plays Ten. -Points at icon- I also play Remy LeBeau from X-men (The comic book version, not the film version), and Remus Lupin from Harry Potter (He's sixteen in this, so he's adorable), and finally I play Hannibal King from the Blade movie (The film version, not the comic book version).

And I'm looking muchly forward to playing with you! I'm just coming back in, sort having had a lag with my tagging, since I was sewing away, but now I'm nearly done and have TONS of free time. :D So will be around lots often to play. Hit me up sometime. I'm real friendly (and don't listen to any of these liars when they say I'm scary and evil-- because I'm not scary!)

	Mistaken identity is always fun times lol I'm all for it. Whenever you want, say the word and I'm totally in :) Kimberly's a little attached to Connor because he's the only one she's met who didn't freak her out so far, but she's not SO skittish that she'd never leave his side and come across other people, so we can work something out for sure :) (Reply to this) (Parent)

Hello Jayden. I'm Lexi, and I haven't seen Criminal Minds, though reading Dr. Reid's profile certainly has me interested. I've been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and am usually very interested in the way AS protagonists are portrayed in pop culture.

I play L Lawliet from Death Note, Rorschach from Watchmen, Edward Scissorhands, and Willard Stiles from Willard. I look forward to playing with you and your character. :)

You should definitely watch Criminal Minds then. It isn't canon that Reid has AS, or at least not as far as I know, though reading about him and watching the way he acts, and then studying different articles on AS, and it is pretty easy to draw a lot of similarities between the two.

I'll certainly look into it. I'm always looking for awesome new series' to watch, and well... I'll be honest. It makes one's eyes hurt to just go on animefreak.tv and watch all the series in alphabetical order. It really, really does.

Haha, please never worry about offending me. XD Really, the only thing worse than outright mocking an autism spectrum disorder is trying to be super careful around the topic as a whole. I don't know if you saw the recent limited release "Adam", but that movie (a light romantic comedy about a man with Asperger's), while touching, was a little bit generic and too careful for most of the AS/NT couples that went to see it. AS individuals tend to be a shrewder audience than many, and we can be painfully self aware, so needless to say, the group I was with was watching it very, very critically. The general consensus seemed to be that "Asperger's is the new gay and the new black. If a movie gets made about someone's difficulties with that trait, it'll be hard to see past the stereotypes." That's why it's so much fun to "diagnose" existing characters in movies and on TV, because they're already fully-formed without any sort of stigma to be politically correct about. I'm not sensitive in the least about it. :)

I suspect that L definitely has AS. Along with... oh geez... most of my characters. It'll be fun; I think that your character will have friends among my kids.

Yeah, tiptoing around a disorder can definitely be just as bad as mocking it. I have a friend with AS, so I understand what that must be like to have people act super careful around you.

I never saw Adam, but maybe I should check it out. And yeah, I like diagnosing characters on TV, checking out their personalities, psycho-analysing them and going deeper. Maybe that's why I love this series, given that it's all about profiling. ;) You may disagree, but watch a few episodes and let me know your thoughts on Spencer Reid and AS. :3 It would be an interesting discussion. ;)
